Pulmicort (generic name: budesonide; brand names include: Budecort / Entocort / Budenofalk / Miflonide / Novopulmon) is a corticosteroid medicine.

Pulmicort inhaler is used for the maintenance treatment of bronchial asthma.

Each pack contains 200 metered doses.

Recommendations

Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. Use Pulmicort inhaler exactly as directed.

The usual recommended dosage is 200 micrograms twice daily. The maximum daily dosage is 1600 micrograms.

Precautions

Pulmicort inhaler should not be used in the treatment of acute episodes of asthma where intensive measures are required.
