Albenza (generic name: albendazol; brand names include: Albex / Alminth / Helmidazole/ Eskazole / Zentel) belongs to a group of medicines called anthelmintics.

Albenza is widely used for the treatment of worm infestations (such as parenchymal neurocysticercosis and cystic hydatid disease of the liver, lung, and peritoneumand) and a number of other conditions.
