Furazolidone (brand names include: Furoxone / Dependal-M / Furoxona / Nifuran) is an antibacterial / antibiotic medicine.

Furazolidone is used for the treatment of infectious diarrhoea, including traveler's diarrhoea, and enteritis.

Furazolidone is also used to treat cholera and bacteremic salmonellosis.
